The villa is a splendid, three-storey villa, just 300 meters from the pristine white sands of Balangan beach and just 150 meters to one of Bali’s premiere international 18 holes golf course known as Pecatu Graha nicknamed The New Kuta Golf. Fashioned in modern Bali style and characterised by dark wood, cream walls and marble floors. Capturing a different atmosphere on each level, the villa presents three, independent, air-conditioned suites, each with an ensuite bathroom; a large living and dining room with an integrated modern kitchen; a 12-metre swimming pool bordered by a pool deck and an attractive walled garden; and an outdoor living and dining pavilion crowned with a rooftop terrace and a gazebo. The villa is blessed with a beautiful view of the Indian Ocean and Bali’s magnificent coastline. It is located just a few minutes’ walk from Balangan beach on the Bukit Peninsula in South Bali. The villa can be rented entirely or per villa suite in different combinations and accommodates groups of up to six adults and two children.

There are three, stylish, air-conditioned, en-suite bedrooms that comprise a master suite and a twin-bedded room on the upper floor, and a queen-bedded room on the ground floor. A rooftop TV/ games room doubles as an extra bedroom, ideal for one or two children. The grand master suite is a huge space featuring a dark timber floor, a sitting area, and an adjoining walk-in dressing room, which serves as an extra bedroom for a child or nanny, making this suite – and indeed this floor of the villa – perfect for a family. The ground-floor guestroom is accessed from the living area and is filled with natural light and features a polished marble floor and glass doors that open directly to the pool deck. The twin-bedded room is situated on the upper floor and it is furnished in a similar style to the downstairs room, with sliding doors open to a balcony with a fabulous view looking out towards the ocean.

Living & Dining Areas

A pair of impressive, hand-carved, wooden entrance doors leads directly into the villa’s elegant living and dining room. Cooled by both air-conditioning and ceiling fans, this spacious room features a polished marble floor and is furnished with a big and comfy L-shaped sofa oriented towards a wall-mounted, international-channel TV and DVD player. The cream-coloured walls are decorated with a huge mirror, local artefacts and Balinese artwork. To one side, bordering the kitchen, is a glass-topped dining table for eight.

The integrated modern kitchen is fully equipped with a three-burner gas hob, an imported oven, a built-in microwave and water dispenser, a two-door refrigerator, and black polished granite work tops including a central island lit by a black crystal chandelier.

Rooftop Room

The Rooftop Room and its adjacent terraces, covers the whole of the top floor. Here, the panoramic views are maximised with picture windows on four sides. The air-conditioned and fan-cooled room is presented as a sitting room, with an L-shaped sofa that can be converted to a bed, if required, for up to two kids. The room is also equipped with a mini-bar fridge and a wall-mounted international-channel TV and DVD player. A table for four is positioned inside, while two more all-weather dining tables for four, as well as chairs, a sofa and coffee tables, are situated outside on the broad balcony deck, which wraps around two sides of the room and is open to the sky. From this wonderful vantage point, the views extend to Dreamland Beach and Padang Padang Beach to the south, and to Bali’s sunset coast to the north. The scene is particularly spectacular at night enhanced by the lights of Kuta, Seminyak and Canggu. On a clear day, the awesome vista takes in Bali’s chain of volcanoes from the mighty Mt Agung in the east to the distant volcanoes of Java.

Outdoor Areas

The villa is complemented by a 12-metre swimming pool, bordered by a stone sundeck furnished with sun loungers and set within a walled garden filled with tropical plants and flowers. Next to the poolside living and dining pavilion is a timber deck and a small bar and barbeque area. Here, the staff will happily prepare a BBQ feast of your choice, including fresh grilled seafood.

To one side of the pool is an alfresco living and dining pavilion, open on all sides and sheltered by a roof. Cooled by natural breezes and a ceiling fan, the pavilion features a small sitting area with a sofa, a non-slip marble floor, and a dining table and chairs for six people. A narrow spiral staircase fashioned from cast iron and wood leads up to a rooftop deck above the living and dining area. Much of the deck is open to the sky, while one end is covered by a relaxation gazebo with built-in cushioned seating sheltered by a roof. This is a fabulous, breezy spot for sunset cocktails, offering a gorgeous view of the surrounding countryside and a few rooftops under a big open sky, with the sea just 300 metres away.

The villa is located just 300 metres from Balangan beach on the Bukit Peninsula on Bali’s southern tip. Balangan is one of the most idyllic golden-sand beaches in Bali; great for both surfers and non-surfers alike. The Bukit (which means hill in the local language) is drier than the rest of the island, cooled by coastal hill breezes and characterised by a dry, rocky landscape dotted with bush scrub, scarlet flowering flamboyant and kapok trees. Even in the rainy season it is a reliable sun-trap. There are two championship golf courses on The Bukit, as well as water sport centres at Tanjung Benoa, the Bali Collection shopping centre at Nusa Dua, and countless spas. Stylish beach clubs in the area include Karma Beach, Finn’s, El Kabron, Nikki Beach and Sundara. Just 15km from the villa is the cliff top Pura Uluwatu Temple, perched 70 metres above the roaring Indian Ocean; facing west and with steep headlands on either side creating an unbelievably dramatic setting, sunsets over Uluwatu are spectacular, and many world-class reef breaks are located nearby. Finally, the glorious crescent-shaped Jimbaran Beach is home to a plethora of seafood ‘warung’; these simple cafes extend across the length of the beach and serve up the catch of the day. The villa is within day-trip reach of many of the island’s main tourist attractions. It is just 16km from the international airport and only 21km from the endless shopping, vibrant nightlife and international restaurants of Seminyak. If you are interested in excursions such as a trip to the Elephant Park or shopping in the galleries and craft workshops in the cultural centre of Ubud, or even some dare-devil adventure activities such as white-water rafting or climbing a volcano for sunrise, the villa staff will be more than happy to offer advice and arrange everything for you. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy your holiday.
